About the role

Blueprint Creative Group is a health communications and marketing agency that runs award-winning public education and behavior change campaigns for state and federal public health clients. We are hiring a Program Manager to lead our Rural Health work.

The ideal Program Manager has personally led grant-funded large public health awareness and prevention programs, and will own the contract from workplan to measurable outcomes. You will be the person the client trusts to run the program and the person the creative and media teams look to for marketing direction.

What you will do

* Run the program: Own the full program: translate the contract scope into workplans, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and KPIs, and keep every workstream on schedule and in compliance. * Lead the marketing: Lead strategy and execution for awareness, public education, and marketing campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and community channels, grounded in audience research, segmentation, and message testing. * Own the client relationship: Serve as the day-to-day client lead for the Tennessee Department of Health, managing expectations, reporting, and relationships with calm, clear communication. * Direct the team: Direct cross-functional creative, media, digital, and community teams plus subcontractors, aligning everyone to the campaign strategy and the client's goals. * Measure and optimize: Track performance against KPIs, report results to the client, and use the data to optimize campaigns and show measurable impact on health outcomes.

What you bring

* Program and marketing leadership: 7+ years leading public health or public sector programs, with direct, hands-on ownership of awareness, public education, or marketing campaigns. You have personally run campaigns, not just managed people who did. * Program management depth: A track record of running complex, multi-stakeholder programs on budget and on deadline, including government reporting, compliance, and KPI tracking. * Campaign strategy: Fluency in behavior change and social marketing principles, audience segmentation, message testing, and performance optimization. * Client and team leadership: Clear, confident communication with government clients and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendors.

Additional desired qualities

* Public health experience at the federal level, on a federal program, or with a state or local public health department. * Rural health, tobacco, chronic disease, or behavior change campaign experience. * Experience on a state marketing or advertising contract. PMP or equivalent. * Located in or able to travel readily to Nashville,TN; the Southeast, mid-Atlantic, and Northeast are a plus for travel, but we are hiring nationwide and this role is remote-friendly.
