What You’ll Do
* Carry out care plans under the supervision of Occupational Therapists * Teach patients to use adaptive technology and equipment * Advise families on care needs following legal and clinical standards * Do home visits to demonstrate functional skills, mobility, and home safety * Lead therapeutic activities that improve physical, mental, and social functioning * Support the therapy team’s goals and each resident’s quality of life
What You’ll Need
* Active Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant license and registration (required) * Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program, or equivalent (required)
