About the role
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* General cleaning duties, such as blowing down designated areas, sweeping and discarding foreign material into a tip bin for disposal, shoveling, etc. * Cleaning on a scissor lift and sky jack (will train employees in proper procedure) * Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities * Carrying out heavy cleaning tasks and cleaning up after production processes * Working with air pressure equipment * Notifying management of any issues or repairs needed * Maintain a clean and safe working environment * Other cleaning duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Working with heights/Fall Training (willing to train) * Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (willing to train) * Forklift License ideal (willing to train) * Excellent attendance & punctuality * Willingness to learn and adapt * Fast learner who is able to follow instructions * Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours * Ability to work with minimum or no supervision * Previous experience as an industrial cleaner is an asset
