About the role

The Company

Versaterm is a PE-backed, high-growth SaaS company building a fully integrated platform across the entire public safety ecosystem — dispatch, law enforcement, forensics, courts, and beyond.  We've grown through strategic acquisitions and deep product investment. What connects all of it is a single purpose: give public safety agencies the tools and insights to make better decisions in high-stakes moments.

When a 911 call is answered, a detective investigates a case, or a forensic lab processes evidence, there's a good chance our software is working behind the scenes. That's been true for over four decades.

AI is central to where we're going. Not as a feature but as core infrastructure. We're embedding intelligence directly into the workflows our customers rely on every day, and we're doing it alongside them. Our customers tell us what the mission demands. We build what answers it.

This work attracts a specific kind of person — someone who wants to be pushed by great people, build things that outlast a sprint cycle, and go home knowing the work connected back to something real.

The Role

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner leads end-to-end recruitment across the organization, with a focus on complex, confidential, and leadership roles, and delivers talent acquisition programs and initiatives owned by the Manager, Talent Acquisition. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role works independently, applying executive presence, sound judgement, critical thinking, and market insight to partner with senior leaders, including the C-suite, on hiring strategy and to solve complex hiring challenges. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner also serves as a subject matter expert and informal coach to the team and supports the Manager on Executive and VP searches.

What You Do

* Partner with executives and senior leaders to understand current and future hiring needs and shape role requirements, hiring plans, and selection decisions. * Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for roles across the organization, leading Senior Manager, Director, and other business-critical searches, including confidential searches and select mandates assigned by the Manager, TA. * Develop and execute proactive sourcing and talent-mapping strategies for senior talent, including passive outreach, networking, and pipelining. * Deliver a high-quality, high-touch candidate experience for senior candidates. * Use recruitment metrics and market and compensation intelligence to advise leaders and inform hiring strategy. * Lead the planning and delivery of talent acquisition initiatives and programs owned by the Manager, TA, managing scope, timelines, stakeholders, and results. * Apply critical thinking to challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to recruitment processes, tools, and systems. * Use AI-enabled tools and automation to improve recruiting effectiveness and productivity, with human judgement applied to hiring decisions. * Support hiring manager training and enablement, including structured interviewing and inclusive hiring practices. * Act as a subject matter expert and informal coach to the Talent Acquisition team on best practices and complex searches. * Support the Manager, TA on Executive and VP searches and other select mandates. * Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies related to hiring and candidate data privacy across relevant jurisdictions. * Perform other related duties as assigned to support team objectives, departmental needs, and overall organizational priorities.

WHAT YOU BRING

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * 7+ years of progressive experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, including recruiting Senior Manager and Director roles, ideally in a technology or software environment. * Demonstrated executive presence, with the credibility to advise and influence C-suite and senior leaders. * Proven success delivering talent acquisition initiatives or programs from planning through implementation, with strong project management and critical thinking skills. * Experience using AI-enabled recruiting tools and automation to improve efficiency and outcomes, with sound judgement in how they are applied. * Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, applicant tracking systems (preferably Greenhouse), and recruitment analytics, with the business acumen to apply analytics in advising leaders. * Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization. * A collaborative, adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence.

Note: Due to the nature of our work with public safety agencies, this position requires compliance with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy. Candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive, fingerprint-based background check. Please note that specific customer contracts may impose additional security verification requirements. Obtaining and maintaining all required security clearances is a condition of employment.
