This Position reports to:
R&D Engineer
Internship: R&D Design role based at the Madrid headquarters within Electrification, Smart Buildings, and Energy Distribution, focusing on low-voltage electrical protections including MCBs, RCDs/RCCBs, RCBOs, and auxiliaries (Modular DIN-Rail Products).
🎯Your Role and Responsibilities
👉In this role, you'll learn and contribute to the following tasks:
* Updating internal technical guidelines and documentation * Analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP and preparing corresponding technical documentation * Collaborating within an international team of over 30 engineers, providing support to manufacturing plants primarily across Europe * Modifying 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models using PTC Creo * Updating marking/labeling drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) * Identifying critical dimensions based on functional analysis and tolerance definition (GD&T)

📚Qualifications for the Role
* Education: Engineering student * Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English * Additional knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; proficiency with CAD tools (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.); familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOM) management (Windchill, SAP) is desirable
