Job Summary:
As a Programmer at McWane Ductile NJ, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that optimize our foundry operations. Based On Site at our Phillipsburg, New Jersey facility, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance technology solutions, support operational excellence, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement user-friendly Power BI Reports that will be used by senior management. * Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code to meet established standards and guidelines. * Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues promptly, ensuring smooth operation of critical systems. * Utilize your expertise to develop robust and scalable software applications tailored to the unique needs of our foundry operations. * Manage and optimize SQL databases to ensure data integrity, reliability, and efficient retrieval, crucial for real-time decision-making in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. * Implement and maintain version control using Git to facilitate collaboration among development teams and ensure codebase integrity. * Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, operations, and IT professionals to understand requirements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * 1-2 Years of experience in programming or a related field. * Proven experience in Power BI/Power Platform, Delphi, SQL, and Git. * Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. * Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite. * Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
