About the role

Position Overview Celebration Chevrolet is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Automotive & Dealership Inventory Photographer to manage our visual merchandising and digital showroom on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be directly responsible for capturing high-quality images and video of our new and pre-owned vehicle inventory to attract online buyers and drive showroom traffic.

Beyond inventory, you will capture day-to-day dealership activities, promotional events, facility features, parts and service highlights, and staff headshots to support our website, social media, and advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities Inventory Photography & Media Capture

Photograph and document all new, certified pre-owned, and used vehicles promptly upon delivery and reconditioning.

Adhere strictly to the dealership’s photo sequence standards (exterior hero angles, profile, wheels, interior dashboard, infotainment screen, rear seating, cargo/bed, odometer, engine, and feature-specific close-ups).

Capture dynamic 360-degree exterior walkarounds and interior virtual tours using dealership software/turntables.

Stage vehicles consistently by selecting clean backgrounds, aligning steering wheels, adjusting seat positions, and staging digital displays.

Conduct minor vehicle staging prep as needed (wiping down water spots, adjusting window stickers, removing protective plastics).

Digital Asset Management & Processing

Edit, color-correct, crop, and optimize photos using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or dedicated automotive inventory apps.

Upload processed assets to the Dealer Management System (DMS), website CMS, and third-party sales platforms (e.g., CarGurus, AutoTrader, Cars.com) within targeted turnaround windows (24–48 hours of vehicle frontline readiness).

Audit online inventory listings daily to identify and resolve missing, outdated, or low-quality photos.

General Dealership & Marketing Photography

Capture high-resolution professional headshots and team photos for newly onboarded staff and sales representatives.

Photograph service bays, parts department displays, customer lounges, and facility updates.

Cover dealership-sponsored community events, holiday promotions, sales events, and vehicle delivery moments for social media marketing.

Assist the marketing team with short-form vertical video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) highlighting new arrivals or featured inventory.

Qualifications & Requirements Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for employment.

Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required to safely operate and relocate vehicles on the lot and for dealership insurance coverage).

Experience: 1+ years of photography experience; automotive, commercial product, or real estate photography experience is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless camera systems, wide-angle and prime lenses, and mobile capture rigs.

Practical knowledge of photo editing software (Adobe Creative Suite: Lightroom, Photoshop).

Familiarity with inventory syndication platforms or automotive software (e.g., vAuto, DealerConnect, HomeNet) is a plus.

Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in various seasonal weather conditions; ability to bend, squat, kneel, and walk across large dealership lots throughout the day.

Work Style: High attention to detail, efficient time management, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Compensation: $20/Hourly
