About the role
Advanced Professional Security is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment and providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches. * Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively. * Enforce company policies and security procedures to maintain a safe environment. * Prepare detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities. * Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary. * Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities. * Provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in criminal justice or related field preferred. * Minimum 2 years of armed security experience or military/law enforcement experience is highly desirable. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. * Physically fit and capable of performing security duties.
Compensation & Benefits:
* This role will range from $23.00 - $25.00/ hourly DOE * Health insurance & Voluntary Benefits * Paid time off * Training and development opportunities
