A Host at Wintzell's Oyster House is responsible for creating a great first impression for guests and helping restaurant operations run smoothly. This member must maintain a positive attitude and demeanor at all times.
Host Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly as they arrive. * Manage the waiting list and estimate wait times. * Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections. * Answer phone calls and execute takeout orders. * Handle guest questions and special requests. * Maintain a clean, organized lobby and dining area. * Assist with cleaning tables, menus, and common areas as needed. * Support servers by helping with guest needs during busy periods. * Ensure guests have a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.
