About the role

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR / People transformation professional to join our Edinburgh office and help us shape the next phase of Avaloq's global People operating model. You will lead the review, redesign and harmonization of People processes globally, clarify ownership and accountability, and support the development of our new People Share Services & Digital Solutions team in Manila.

You'll work closely with global and local People teams to establish new efficiencies: simplify ways of working, reduce unnecessary variation, strengthen governance and identify opportunities for standardization, self-service and automation. The role requires regular international travel to key HR locations to work directly with local teams, understand current practices, facilitate process redesign and support transition activities.

This is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on how People services are delivered globally and to help build a more consistent, scalable and effective operating model.

* Lead the review and redesign of end-to-end People processes across countries and functions, simplifying and harmonizing ways of working to create a consistent and effective future-state model * Turn redesigned processes into clear, practical frameworks, developing process maps, SOPs, RACIs, decision rights, governance and controls, escalation paths and local exception guidelines that enable teams to work with confidence * Shape the operating model for the new Manila Shared Services & Digital Solutions team, helping define its service catalogue, process ownership, governance arrangements and controls * Identify and transition suitable activities into Shared Services, supporting migration planning, knowledge transfer and the smooth embedding of new ways of working * Drive service excellence and continuous improvement, establishing meaningful service levels and KPIs while identifying opportunities for workflow optimization, employee and manager self-service, and automation * Bring stakeholders together to turn insight into action, facilitating workshops with local and global People teams and presenting clear priorities, recommendations and improvement opportunities to senior People leadership

Qualifications

* Significant experience in HR / People transformation, process excellence, Shared Services or operating-model design with the ability to challenge existing practices constructively and turn analysis into applicable solutions * Proficient experience mapping and redesigning complex end-to-end HR processes * Deep comprehension of HR service delivery, governance and process ownership * Experience with SOPs, RACI matrices, service catalogues and process controls * Robust stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills across multiple countries and stakeholder groups * Experience with HR technology platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage * Lean, Six Sigma, BPM or similar process-improvement experience is also beneficial

Please note the role requires regular international travel to key HR locations to work directly with local teams
