Certified Lead Teacher

Key Responsibilities
* Create and implement weekly lesson plans that promote creativity, learning, and age-appropriate skill development. * Use diverse teaching methods including storytelling, hands-on activities, creative arts, games, and outdoor learning. * Evaluate and document children’s developmental progress through observations and daily notes. * Maintain consistent communication with families regarding their child’s day, growth, and achievements. * Support a structured daily schedule that promotes routine and a positive classroom flow. * Encourage positive interactions among children and help guide social-emotional development. * Identify behavioral or developmental concerns and take appropriate steps to support each child’s needs. * Assist with hygiene routines such as diapering, toileting, and handwashing following health and safety standards. * Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals/snacks while following food safety guidelines. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment at all times.
Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a childcare lead teacher. * Strong understanding of child development and current early education practices. * Creative, patient, and able to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. * Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. * Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages. * CPR/First Aid certification required. * Early Childhood Staff Credential, degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent certification required for Lead Teacher designation.

Compensation: Starting at $16.50 an hour
