Lynn Electronics is actively recruiting an energetic, high-potential Copper Assembler Associate to join our growing team. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team. As an assembler Associate, you will be responsible for assemblies to specifications and quality requirements to prepare cables. This is a full time, first shift position. The hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Responsibilities of the Assembler Associate Include: * Prepare, assemble, and test copper cable including stripping, and terminating wires for standard and specialty products using a range of hand tools and other equipment. * Solder interconnections per IPC-620 standard as required. * Conduct work in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures. * Ability to read and understand customer’s technical drawings. * Read, interpret, and follow detailed written work orders. * Maintain a clean work area. * Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience: * 1-3+ years related assembling experience in fiber cable assembly preferred but willing to train * Hands on experience in assembly of electro -mechanical products, preferably connector or cable assemblies
Candidates must be able to read and interpret work instructions in English, possess effective communication skills, and a professional demeanor. You should be punctual and reliable as this is a very important support position.
