About the role
Role Purpose
Lead execution of Retail QE improvement initiatives by driving adoption, governance, accountability, metrics, and operational maturity across the QE organization using the assessment findings, recommendations, and governance structures already established.
The ideal candidate is not being brought in to perform another major current-state assessment. Success will come from taking those established outputs and driving adoption, accountability, governance execution, metrics implementation, operational follow-through, and continuous refinement across the Retail QE organization.
The position requires a leader who can work effectively with directors, architects, and executive stakeholders while maintaining focus on organizational improvement and measurable outcomes. The strongest fit would be someone with proven QE governance, transformation, communication, facilitation, and operational leadership experience, supplemented by enough technical and data awareness to support metrics, reporting, testing, and operational decision-making when needed.
Candidate must be very experienced with asking questions, investigative questions and follow-up, provide direction to team members and leaders with thoughtful insight and analysis (current state and future state). Be the "glue" or "bridge" between team members, technical staff, analytics/governance, and leadership.
