Roving Day Porter
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Join the Environment Control Team!
Environment Control is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Roving Day Porter to support cleaning operations at multiple UW Health locations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and taking pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional healthcare facilities.
Schedule:
* Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
* Occasional weekends may be required.
* Mandatory 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
* Drive an assigned Environment Control company vehicle daily to travel between locations.
* A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
What You'll Do:
* Support Day cleaning
* Perform floor care projects, including carpet cleaning, extraction, stairwell cleaning, and upholstery maintenance.
* Conduct facility inspections to ensure cleaning standards and customer expectations are met.
* Assist with special cleaning projects, supply deliveries, and equipment maintenance.
* Monitor and address customer requests and quality concerns.
* Operate and maintain company vehicles and cleaning equipment safely.
Requirements:
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
* Good communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
* Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
* Must pass required background checks
