Overview
BrightStar Care is building a team of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide attentive, one-on-one care in Santa Maria. You will support individual’s health and daily care needs while communicating clearly with the client, family, and care team.

LVN Benefits

Shifts Available 7 days a week:
7:00am - 3:00pm
8:00am - 4:00pm
9:00am - 5:00pm
3:00pm - 8:00pm and occasionally until 11:00pm
LVN Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care in accordance with individualized care plans. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. * Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team. * Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility support. * Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies. * Maintain accurate electronic documentation of patient progress and interventions. * Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
LVN Qualifications
* Current California LVN license in good standing * At least 1yr experience preferred * Pediatric and adult care experience * Experience with Hoyer lifts and ROM exercises * Confident with Trach care, Indwelling Catheters and G-Tubes * Proficiency in medication administration and management * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care * Reliability and ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Ability to commit long term 2-3 shifts per week
