Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work for new manufacturing construction projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in new construction manufacturing settings. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation. * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing efficient solutions to minimize downtime. * Ensure all work is performed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety standards.
Qualifications:
* Licensed Industrial Electrician or equivalent certification preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work for new manufacturing construction projects. * Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and controls in industrial environments. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. * Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant safety standards. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automated systems. * OSHA certification or similar safety training. * Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable electrical systems.
