Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly-motivated, dependable, and organized Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our small but mighty team. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong work ethic to thrive in a dynamic startup environment. There are ample opportunities to grow professionally within the company and play a significant role in our success.
Responsibilities:
* Accurately and efficiently prepare, dispense, and manage medication therapies for home infusion and specialty pharmacy patients * Conduct thorough medication therapy management and clinical reviews for all patients * Provide drug information and education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers * Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care * Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including the ordering and receiving of medications and supplies * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures * Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth of the pharmacy * Mentor and supervise support staff, as needed
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution * Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing * At least 1 year of experience in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or a related field preferred * Strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in electronic health records and pharmacy software * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong work ethic * Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
