Job Overview Role Summary Our client is seeking a Senior IT Stream Lead to take end-to-end ownership of the IT workstream for the implementation of a new electronic health record system across Sweden and Denmark. The assignment covers the full technical delivery lifecycle, from mobilization and implementation planning through pilot deployment, go-live, hypercare, and handover to ongoing IT operations. The primary mission is to ensure that all technical prerequisites, deliverables, dependencies, and decisions are in place ahead of the pilot and each subsequent go-live. The role collaborates closely with project management, the system and configuration workstream, business implementation leads, information security specialists, IT operations and application management teams, and the selected system vendor. Key Responsibilities Lead, plan, coordinate, and drive the technical implementation from project mobilization through go-live and transition into ongoing operations. Develop and maintain the technical project plan, including milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and delivery readiness. Coordinate the system vendor and other technical stakeholders to ensure that agreed deliverables are completed on time and meet project requirements. Oversee system integrations and APIs, technical environments, identity and access management, permissions, and information security dependencies. Lead technical testing and readiness activities ahead of the pilot and each production deployment. Plan and coordinate go-live execution, post-launch hypercare, issue resolution, and operational handover. Lead the planning and execution of digital data migration where technically feasible. Direct the transfer of information from the existing archive to a new or existing archival solution. Maintain consolidated ownership of the IT workstream and ensure that technical prerequisites and key decisions are resolved at the appropriate stage.

Technical Stack & Requirements SaaS implementations: Proven experience delivering complex SaaS platforms and business-critical enterprise systems. System integration: Experience coordinating integrations, APIs, interfaces, and dependencies between systems. Identity and access management: Understanding of IAM, authorization models, permissions, and access-related implementation requirements. Information security: Ability to coordinate security requirements and technical controls within a regulated implementation environment. Technical testing: Experience planning and governing technical testing, deployment readiness, and go-live validation. Data migration: Experience planning digital migration activities and coordinating archival data transfers. Vendor management: Demonstrated ability to govern external technology vendors and align their deliveries with a complex implementation plan.

Qualifications & Experience The assignment requires at least 8–10 years of relevant professional experience and documented experience leading complex SaaS and enterprise-system implementations. Previous work with electronic health record systems is advantageous, as is experience in healthcare, social care, or another regulated sector. The successful consultant must be capable of taking consolidated ownership of a major IT workstream and coordinating technical delivery across project, business, security, operations, and supplier organizations.
