Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support physicians by documenting patient encounters in real time and maintaining accurate electronic health records. This role also assists with appointment scheduling and patient follow-up to keep clinical operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities * Document patient histories, examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions during physician visits. * Enter physician orders for medications, lab work, imaging, and other services. * Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records. * Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including follow-ups and waitlist openings. * Contact patients about earlier appointment availability and document scheduling issues. * Protect confidential patient information and follow privacy requirements. * Support physicians and clinical staff with additional administrative duties.
Qualifications Required * High school diploma or GED. * Strong written communication, organizational, and customer service skills. * Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation abilities. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred * At least one year of medical scribe experience or related training or experience.
