About the role
LTC Language Solutions is seeking ESL instructors for our clients in the Bay Area, California. Since 1993, we have been providing one-on-one language and cultural training for relocating expat families. Each assignment is contracted with a 1099 separately, so the details below will vary:
* Language Class: Private English tutoring for children, from elementary to advanced levels. * Location: Face-to-face. Lessons are often held at the student's home, workplace, or public location. Instructor must reside in the Bay area. * Schedule: TBD - classes are typically held twice per week for 2 hours per session after school hours. * Start: Throughout the year * Duration: Ranging from 30 to 90 hours. * Requirements: English speaker with 2+ years of teaching experience * Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and distance traveled * Curriculum: Based on student goals. Textbooks can be provided to teacher and student. Teacher expected to supplement with authentic materials and activities.
