FindAJobAI vs Simplify: free autofill, AI tailoring and who presses Submit
Simplify’s free Copilot extension autofills job applications and keeps a tracker; with 500,000 users on the Chrome Web Store, it’s the most installed of the job-search extensions we checked. AI tailoring and cover letters come with Simplify+, a paid upgrade. FindAJobAI also has a free autofill extension, but its core is different: it scores new jobs from 15,000+ company career boards 0–100 against your CV and tailors your CV and cover letter for the ones you pick.
The sharpest difference is now about control. In October 2026 Simplify began advertising Autopilot, which it describes as tailoring your résumé, filling in the application and submitting it for you. Where Simplify is stronger
Free autofill at scale. Simplify’s autofill costs nothing and has 500,000 users, rated 4.8 from 3.9K ratings (listing updated 30 October 2026). Ours is free to install too, but it works with a FindAJobAI account, and how much you can autofill depends on your plan.
Hands-off applying, if that’s what you want. If your priority is sending as many applications as possible with the least effort, Autopilot is built for that. FindAJobAI deliberately isn’t.
A phone app and job lists. Simplify promotes an iPhone app and publishes job lists on its own site. FindAJobAI is a web app, and the extension needs Chrome, Edge or Brave on a computer.
Recruiter introductions. Simplify’s landing page now presents it as a personal AI agent that can also bring recruiter introductions. FindAJobAI doesn’t introduce you to recruiters.
Where FindAJobAI is different
You always press Submit. The FindAJobAI extension fills the form and stops. You read the answers, fix anything that’s off and submit yourself, so nothing reaches an employer without your approval. Voluntary equal-opportunity and demographic questions are always left for you to answer.
A score before you apply. Every new job that fits your roles and locations gets a 0–100 score against your CV, with the reasons and the gaps, so you can skip weak fits instead of applying to more jobs.
Tailoring with guard rails. Tailored CVs keep your section order and skills grouping, leave unchanged bullets word for word and never add skills you don’t have.
Price. Standard costs $14.99 a month with every feature, less than Simplify+’s weekly pass and well under its monthly price in third-party reviews.

How to switch from Simplify
- Keep Simplify installed while you try FindAJobAI if you like, but let only one extension fill a given form, then review the result.
- Paste one job you’re considering into the free CV score to see the match and the missing keywords.
- Sign up and upload your CV; set your target roles, locations and work authorisation.
- Open your scored matches, tailor your CV and cover letter for the strongest ones, then let the extension fill the application. Review and submit.
- If you pay for Simplify+, check its current terms and cancel before the next renewal.
Frequently asked questions
Is the FindAJobAI extension free like Simplify’s?
The FindAJobAI extension is free to install and fills forms on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Workday and iCIMS, plus common fields on most other sites. It needs a FindAJobAI account, and how much you can autofill depends on your plan (Standard includes 25 autofills a day). Simplify’s autofill doesn’t need a paid plan.
Does FindAJobAI have an Autopilot that submits applications?
No, and that’s deliberate. FindAJobAI fills in the form and you review and submit it. Simplify’s Autopilot, advertised since October 2026, is described as tailoring, filling and submitting applications for you. If you want that, Simplify offers it; if you want to check every application first, FindAJobAI is built that way.
Is Simplify+ more expensive than FindAJobAI?
