About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting Veterinary Surgeons to join our brand-new veterinary hospital in Hull, opening in January 2027 as we continue to expand our services across Yorkshire.

Our new hospital will enable us to provide affordable, high-quality veterinary care to even more pets and their owners across East Yorkshire. Whether your passion lies in surgery, consulting, or a combination of both, we have opportunities to suit your interests and experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team from the very beginning and help us make a real difference to pets and their owners across the region.

Animal Trust is an independent, not-for-profit veterinary social enterprise committed to making comprehensive veterinary care more accessible and affordable. From everyday care to advanced Referral and Pet A&E services, we help pets and people live healthier lives.

As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest in our people, facilities and services, giving our teams opportunities to develop their clinical expertise while delivering the right care for every patient.

Our values guide everything we do: Animal Welfare First, Right Care, Right Cost, Together with Purpose and Expertise in Practice. Together, they reflect our commitment to putting patients first, supporting one another and making a meaningful difference every day.

Does this sound like something you would enjoy? We are looking for likeminded vets to join our team. Working for Animal Trust you will get a good mix of both surgical and consulting time.

Rota: 40rs/week, 4 day week, 2:9 weekends (We are open to discussing part time options also)

Benefits:

* 6 weeks of holiday per year * 52 weeks sickness benefit available * Private health care - after a qualifying period * RCVS and VDS fees paid. * Visa sponsorship available. * Cycle to work scheme * E-Car Scheme * Store discounts through Perkbox * Staff discount 20% * Contributory pension scheme 4% * Enhance maternity and Paternity package  * Employee assistance programme * Funded CPD

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and help shape a brand-new hospital from the very beginning.

If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and want to make a real difference to pets and their owners, we'd love to hear from you.

Compensation: Up to £71,800 FTE
