Job Role: CNC Machinist Location: Briggs, TX Duration: Full time, Onsite
Requirements: - Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time. - Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use. - experience as a CNC Machinist. - Experience operating Giddings & Lewis (G&L) Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs), including machining large, heavy, and complex components such as engine blocks, turbine rotors, and large gears. - Demonstrated ability to perform precision turning, boring, and facing operations while maintaining tight tolerances. - Familiarity with CNC controls, machine setup, and leveraging vertical spindle configurations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient workpiece handling. - Passion to build Spacecraft and Rocket components. - Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
