About the Position
Harris Health is seeking a Sup Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations across Smith Clinic, Casa De Amigos, and LBJ. In this role, you will help ensure safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operations by leading daily workflows, supervising staff, and upholding regulatory standards.
This position supports optimal patient care through collaborative leadership, formulary adherence, clinical intervention oversight, staff education, and continuous professional development. The Supervisor Pharmacist plays a key role in fostering a culture of excellence in medication management across multiple Harris Health locations.

Requirements
* Education: * Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required * Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred * Licensure/Certification: * Texas Pharmacist License or eligibility for Texas licensure; must obtain within 90 days of employment * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross within 90 days of employment * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for inpatient positions prior to or within 6 months of employment; preferred for outpatient roles * IV Sterile Certification required for all inpatient areas and Fondren Pharmacy * Texas Pharmacist Preceptor Certification preferred * Experience: * Minimum of 2 years of progressive, relevant pharmacy experience * Outpatient/Retail experience required for ACS positions * Inpatient hospital experience required for IP positions * Completion of a PGY1 ASHP-accredited residency highly preferred * Communication Skills: * Strong written communication for correspondence and reports * Knowledge/Skills: * Analytical abilities * Design knowledge and skills * Mathematics * Medical terminology * Research knowledge and abilities * Statistical knowledge and abilities * Work Schedule: * Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
