PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience designing complex automation equipment, robotic systems, test equipment, fixtures, EOAT, or precision mechanisms. * Experience with electro-mechanical motion control, pneumatics, sensors, actuators, and industrial automation components. * Adept at generating test plans, running tests, collecting data and generating customer proposals. * Ability to collaborate with controls and electrical engineering on system-level documentation such as I/O definitions, pneumatic schematics, and equipment interfaces. * Experience with engineering scripting or data-analysis tools such as Python is preferred. * Experience designing machined, sheet-metal, fabricated, molded, and additive-manufactured components, with consideration for manufacturing process capabilities and cost.

RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design complex automated systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team. * Create and manage technical documentation (e.g., BOMs, I/O lists, P&IDs). * Develop Automation mechanical design solutions using advanced engineering principles and CAD tools. * Support project lifecycle from conceptual design through production implementation.
