About the role

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Full-Time

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics | Texas Starting at $50.00 per hour | W-2 Employment

Build Skills. Support Students. Strengthen School Teams.

Understanding a student’s behavior can help school teams provide more effective, individualized support. At Candor Consulting & Diagnostics, your expertise helps turn assessment findings into practical strategies that support learning, communication, and independence.

We’re hiring a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who uses assessment, data, and collaboration to help students make meaningful progress. Join a team that values your clinical judgment, supports your professional growth, and understands that your life outside work matters, too.

Why Join Candor?

You invest your time and talent in helping students succeed. Here’s how we invest in you:

* Competitive hourly pay: Starting at $50.00 per hour, with compensation for all time worked.

* Comprehensive benefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options for eligible employees.

* Support for your future: A 401(k) plan with matching contributions for eligible employees.

* Professional growth: Mentorship opportunities and professional development reimbursement to help you strengthen your skills and advance your practice.

* Referral rewards: Earn up to $1,000 in referral bonuses when you help us connect with talented professionals.

* A supportive team: Work with educators and related service professionals who value collaboration, student progress, and the expertise you bring.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You’ll help school teams understand students’ behavioral needs and implement strategies that support participation and skill development. You will:

* Understand the function of behavior. Conduct functional behavior assessments using observations, interviews, and data to identify student needs and inform recommendations.

* Develop individualized interventions. Create evidence-based behavior intervention and skill-development plans that address barriers to learning and support communication, self-regulation, and independence.

* Use data to guide decisions. Monitor student progress, evaluate intervention effectiveness, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with school teams to make appropriate adjustments.

* Support consistent implementation. Coach teachers, paraprofessionals, and families on strategies that help students practice skills across educational settings and routines.

* Provide qualified supervision. Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), when assigned, in accordance with applicable BACB requirements. Provide observation, feedback, and guidance to support effective services.

* Collaborate on educational goals. Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and work with families, educators, and related service providers to align behavioral supports with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

What You’ll Bring

* A master’s degree or higher meeting BCBA certification requirements.

* Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

* An active Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

* Knowledge of functional behavior assessment, individualized intervention planning, data analysis, and ethical behavior-analytic practice.

* Completion of BACB-required supervision training for any assigned RBT supervision responsibilities.

* Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate clinical recommendations into practical strategies.

* Experience supporting children or students with disabilities in educational settings is preferred.

Ready to Join Our Team?

Bring your clinical expertise and commitment to a full-time role where you can help students develop meaningful skills and school teams provide consistent support. We’d love to learn about your experience and what you’re looking for in your next opportunity.
