What you’ll do

* Develop thoughtful and compelling design concepts in response to strategic and creative briefs, from initial research and sketching through to refined creative development. * Translate brand strategy into distinctive visual solutions across identity, packaging, retail, digital, social and other integrated touchpoints. * Help create and evolve brand worlds, visual systems, toolkits and guidelines that are clear, flexible and effective across different channels and markets. * Work closely with senior designers and creative directors to develop high-quality creative work from concept through to production. * Contribute to workshops, brainstorms, critiques and collaborative design sessions. * Present your ideas clearly, explaining the thinking behind your work and responding positively to feedback. * Manage your own workstreams, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines across multiple projects. * Collaborate with strategists, client teams, production specialists and external partners to ensure work is delivered to a high standard. * Apply creative thinking within legal, regulatory, accessibility, sustainability and production requirements. * Support the development of pitches, proactive ideas and new business opportunities where required. * Stay curious about design, culture, technology and emerging creative trends. * Use AI and emerging tools thoughtfully and responsibly to support exploration, prototyping, learning and efficiency, while protecting client confidentiality and intellectual property.

What you’ll need

* Experience in a similar Designer role within a brand, design or creative agency, or an in-house creative team. * A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, design craft and the ability to develop ideas from brief through to execution. * The ability to turn strategic and verbal thinking into clear, distinctive and engaging visual solutions. * Experience working with consumer, FMCG/CPG, food, beverage, nutrition, health, lifestyle or related brands would be beneficial. * An understanding of how typography, colour, imagery, layout, composition and messaging work together to create compelling brand experiences. * Experience developing work across multiple channels, such as packaging, retail, shopper marketing, digital, social and campaigns. * An understanding of how to build consistent yet flexible brand assets and visual systems. * Confidence presenting your work and explaining your creative rationale to colleagues and clients. * A good awareness of current and emerging design, creative, cultural and consumer trends. * Strong attention to detail and an understanding of design production, including preparing and handing over work for final artwork. * Excellent technical skills across Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Experience with Miro, AI-enabled tools and traditional design methods such as sketching is also desirable. * An understanding of digital design and motion, with the ability to consider how visual ideas may work across different formats and platforms. * An interest in inclusive, accessible and sustainable design principles. * A collaborative, positive and professional approach, with the curiosity and resilience to learn, contribute and develop within a team.

We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.

We build brands. We build futures. Landor, a WPP company, is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all applicants without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics, committed to a culture of respect where everyone belongs and can progress in their careers.
