About the role

About the role

mpathic is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to own how we position, message, and equip our go-to-market teams to sell AI safety software and expert-led services. You will define what makes mpathic different for each audience we serve, and you will turn that into the playbooks, training, and materials that help Sales win and help customers understand the value.

This role includes traditional sales enablement and is deliberately separate from content marketing, communications, and PR, which are led by your peer. You will provide the messaging foundation and launch inputs that those teams build on; they will own content production, publishing, and media. The boundaries are spelled out below.

What you'll do

Own positioning and messaging

* Define positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for the mpathic platform and our expert-led services across our core audiences: frontier AI labs, large enterprises building and deploying AI, and Life Sciences organizations. * Develop buyer personas, ideal customer profiles, and use cases in partnership with Sales and Customer Success. * Maintain competitive and market intelligence, including battlecards that help sellers handle the questions they actually hear. * Translate complex ideas in behavioral science, evaluation, and AI safety into clear, credible language for technical, clinical, and executive buyers.

Lead sales enablement

* Build and maintain the sales playbook: discovery guides, qualification frameworks, objection handling, pitch and demo narratives, pricing and packaging guidance, and sales-facing one-pagers and decks. * Design and run seller onboarding and ongoing training, including product and market updates, so new and tenured sellers can tell the mpathic story consistently. * Own the enablement calendar, content repository, and tools, and keep sales materials current and easy to find. * Measure enablement impact through adoption, sales-cycle feedback, win rates, and seller confidence, and adjust accordingly.

Drive go-to-market planning and launches

* Plan and coordinate go-to-market launches for new products, features, benchmarks, and services, including internal readiness for Sales and Customer Success. * Run win/loss analysis and customer and prospect research, and turn the insights into messaging, enablement, and product feedback. * Contribute to pricing, packaging, and segmentation decisions with Sales, Product, and Finance.

Partner across the company

* Work closely with Sales leadership, Product, Clinical Solutions, and Customer Success to keep messaging grounded in what we build and what customers experience. * Bring field feedback from sellers and customers back to Product and leadership.

What you'll accomplish

In your first 60-90 days you'll...

* Learn mpathic's platform, services, customers, and sales motion in depth, including how Sales currently pitches and where deals stall. * Interview sellers, customers, and leaders to audit existing messaging, collateral, and enablement. * Agree on working boundaries and a joint planning rhythm with your Content Marketing, Communications, and PR peer. * Deliver a first version of core messaging and a prioritized enablement roadmap.

In your first year you'll...

* Roll out a clear messaging framework that Sales, Customer Success, and leadership use consistently. * Run a repeatable enablement program, with onboarding for new sellers and regular training for the full team. * Equip sellers with competitive battlecards and win/loss insights that visibly improve sales conversations. * Execute product and service launches that are ready internally before they are public.

You'll thrive in the role if you:

* Have [8+] years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or related go-to-market roles at a B2B software, AI/ML, or hybrid software-and-services company, including leadership experience. * Have built positioning and messaging for technical and complex products and sold into enterprise buyers. * Have owned a sales enablement function or program and can show how you measured its impact. * Can translate technical, scientific, or clinical concepts into clear value for different audiences. * Work collaboratively across Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing, and respect clear ownership lines with peers. * Are comfortable with ambiguity in an early-stage, remote-first environment and happy to be both strategic and hands-on. * Have experience in AI safety, AI/ML infrastructure, healthcare, or life sciences, or are excited to develop it. Familiarity with evaluation, red teaming, or benchmarking concepts is a plus.

Role details

* Location: Remote (US) * Schedule: Full-time * Focus: Product marketing, positioning and messaging, sales enablement, and go-to-market launches
