What’s the role about?

As our Menswear Merchandising placement student, you’ll join the team for a 12-month placement, supporting the planning and trading of our Menswear collections. From analysing sales and best-selling products to managing purchase orders and tracking deliveries, you’ll play an important role in helping us deliver balanced, commercially successful ranges across Reiss.

Working closely with Merchandising, Buying, Design and Product Development, you’ll gain hands-on experience of how a fashion business operates, developing your understanding of sales performance, stock management and commercial decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to build your analytical and organisational skills while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced head office environment.

You’ll currently be in your second year of studies and available to join us for a 52-week placement from Monday 28thJune 2027.

Who you are

What you’ll be doing

* Analysing sales trends and product performance across Menswear, identifying bestsellers and providing insights to support commercial decisions. * Producing price analysis, bestseller reports and weekly trading analysis, sharing findings with the wider Merchandising function across Menswear and Womenswear. * Preparing picture boards to support trade discussions, markdown decisions and wider range performance reviews. * Raising purchase orders accurately and maintaining clear records to support effective stock and delivery management. * Monitoring deliveries and liaising with suppliers regularly to help keep orders on schedule, communicating any changes to Buying and Merchandising teams. * Attending weekly progress meetings, following up on actions and ensuring relevant data and tracking information are accurate and up to date. * Providing day-to-day administrative and analytical support to the Menswear Merchandising team, helping maintain accurate information and smooth processes. * Working collaboratively with Merchandisers, Buyers, Designers, Product Developers and store teams, building your understanding of the product lifecycle and developing your merchandising expertise.
