About the role
Full Stack Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer
The Opportunity:
As a full stack developer, you can resolve complex challenges by delivering complete, end-to-end software solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. If you're looking for an opportunity to develop applications and systems that directly impact military readiness and operational capabilities, we need you on our team. At Booz Allen, you'll apply your software development and systems integration expertise to advance Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities supporting joint space operations, military exercises, and operational decision-making.
On our team, you'll design, develop, configure, and maintain web-based exercise management applications, dashboards, and decision-support tools supporting exercise control, Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) management, inject tracking, white-cell coordination, assessment, and after-action review. You'll develop operator-facing data views, workflow tools, and user interfaces that present simulation and exercise data in operationally relevant formats for scenario management, training-audience interaction, and assessment.
You'll develop and maintain application services, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), adapters, and front-end integrations to ingest, display, and manage simulation outputs, exercise data, and approved external-system data. You'll troubleshoot application functionality, data integration issues, and operational-display discrepancies during test and exercise events to ensure reliable system performance and data accessibility.
Beyond application development, you'll design, develop, and maintain scalable data flows and pipelines using Palantir Foundry and other applicable technologies to enable data integration, transformation, and accessibility across M&S platforms and operational systems. You'll develop machine-to-machine (M2M) interfaces, support data federation, and implement scalable data architectures that improve interoperability and enable automated data exchanges between disparate systems.
This role is more than just coding. You'll collaborate with M&S planners, developers, and operational stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable technical solutions. You'll leverage emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), to improve automation, analytical capabilities, and operational decision support. Your work will directly contribute to improving the realism, effectiveness, and execution of joint military exercises while establishing a foundation for future M&S capabilities.
Work with us as we shape systems for the better.
Join us. The world can't wait.
