About the role

About Beamable

Beamable is the backend and LiveOps infrastructure platform for game developers, the system that lets studios build, operate, and scale live games without constructing the underlying architecture themselves. Backend services, identity, analytics, meta-game systems, virtual economies, and AI-native tooling: all integrated into a single platform that eliminates the point-solution stitching that has defined game development for too long. Beamable also powers Wingman, an agentic LiveOps product that gives game teams a unified operating system to understand, optimize, and act on live game performance in real time. This is the future of how games are operated.

Beamable is part of FIRY, a founder-led global technology portfolio operating at the intersection of gaming, AI-powered performance marketing, and developer infrastructure. Acquired in January 2026, and together with Skillz, our competition platform, and RZR, our AI-driven ad network, Beamable sits at the foundation of a compounding ecosystem that no standalone competitor can replicate. If you want to build the infrastructure that games run on at a company with the vision and resources to back it — Beamable is the right place to do it.

About the Role

Beamable is seeking a Senior Director of Sales to drive enterprise revenue growth and expand its presence in the game backend market. This is an opportunity to build the sales function from the ground up, translate product momentum into strategic game studio partnerships, and establish a repeatable approach to customer acquisition and account expansion.

You will own the full revenue cycle, from prospecting and complex enterprise negotiations through close and ongoing account management. Bringing an established network of studio relationships and deep knowledge of game backend technology and live operations, you will navigate extended buying cycles, build a qualified pipeline, and develop long-term client partnerships. Success in this role means winning new business, growing existing accounts, and establishing a scalable sales foundation that supports sustained revenue growth and positions Beamable for category leadership.

Responsibilities

* Full-Funnel Sales Execution. Own the complete revenue cycle from prospecting and pipeline development through deal close and post-close account management. Operate as one of Beamable's primary sales presences, pitching, negotiating, closing, and retaining enterprise game studio clients without a supporting team. * Account Management & Expansion. Own client relationships post-close, managing renewals, expansion opportunities, and ongoing account health. Ensure Beamable clients are set up for long-term success and deepening platform adoption. * Sales Process & Commission Structure Build-Out. Establish Beamable's sales infrastructure from the ground up, including CRM configuration, pipeline management process, sales playbook, and commission structure, building a scalable foundation that supports team growth over time. * Market Development & Target Account Strategy. Leverage an existing book of business and deep gaming industry relationships to open doors at target game studios. Develop and execute account-based outreach strategy aligned to Beamable's ideal customer profile in partnership with the CRO. * Cross-Functional Partnership. Work closely with the CRO and Head of Marketing to align on ideal customer profile, messaging, event strategy, and pipeline targets. Convert marketing-generated leads efficiently and provide feedback that sharpens demand generation focus.

Key Competencies

* B2B Game Tech Sales. Deep expertise selling game backend platforms, live ops tooling, or game services to game studios and developers. Understands how studios evaluate and adopt backend technology and can speak credibly to technical and business decision-makers alike. * Full-Cycle Sales & Account Management. Proven ability to own deals end-to-end — from first contact through close and post-close account ownership — with equal strength in new logo acquisition and retention/expansion. * Enterprise Deal Navigation & Long Sales Cycles. Experienced navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with 6–18 month sales cycles. Skilled at maintaining momentum, managing executive relationships, and closing in ambiguous environments. * Book of Business & Relationship Development. Brings an established network of gaming industry relationships that can be converted to pipeline quickly. Known and trusted by studios, developers, and game technology buyers. * Pipeline Management & Funnel Execution. Rigorous approach to pipeline hygiene, funnel management, and forecasting. Knows how to build and maintain healthy pipeline coverage and move deals through each stage systematically. * Player-Coach Mentality. Comfortable operating as the sole sales presence — running the full motion without support — while simultaneously building the infrastructure, playbook, and commission structure that will support future team growth.

Experience

* 7+ years of B2B sales experience, selling game backend platforms, live ops tooling, or game services to game studios and developers (experience at or selling against similar game technology platform companies strongly preferred). * Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. * Proven existing book of business within the gaming industry, with active relationships at game studios and developer organizations. * Demonstrated track record of navigating and closing long enterprise sales cycles in a technical B2B environment. * Full-funnel experience: both closing net new business and owning accounts post-close through renewals and expansion. * Deep understanding of live ops, game backend architecture, and how game studios evaluate technology partners. * Experience building or contributing to sales infrastructure — commission structures, playbooks, CRM setup — in an early-stage or scaling environment. * Experience building and leading sales teams, with demonstrated ability to scale a function from solo operator to full team
