What You'll Do
As a Machine Operator, you'll play an important role in keeping our production operations running safely and efficiently while ensuring our corrugated products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities include:
* Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery
* Perform accurate and efficient machine setups and changeovers
* Run materials through machines according to production specifications
* Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
* Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency
* Identify and report equipment issues or defective materials
* Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
* Work with team members to meet daily production goals
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Follow all safety rules and regulations
* Complete work orders based on production needs
What We're Looking For
* Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Experience in the corrugated packaging industry is a plus
* Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to learn and operate multiple types of production equipment
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift
* Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure
* Ability to read and follow blueprints, production schematics, and detailed instructions
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
* Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screening
