Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* General Ledger Maintenance: * Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger * Ensure the accuracy of the accounting data and make necessary corrections as required * Financial Reporting and Reconciliations: * Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports * Create variance reports to analyze income/expenses ensuring accurate reporting * Reconcile balance sheet accounts * Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts * Other Duties: * Assist with financial and tax audits * Continuous review and improvements of processes and procedures * Special projects as assigned * Collaborate with Central and Campus teams to streamline processes and ensure information is timely and accurate
Qualifications
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field * Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment * Advanced excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups * Strong understanding of accounting principles * Ability to learn new systems & processes quickly
