* Responsibilities * Research, design, and develop robust and efficient algorithms for mesh generation. * Develop computational geometry algorithms for complex 2D and 3D models. * Improve mesh quality, robustness, and performance. * Investigate and resolve geometric, topological, and numerical issues. * Optimize performance using parallel computing and multithreading. * Collaborate with the team to develop and integrate mesh generation technologies. * Use AI-assisted coding tools and agents to improve development productivity. * Contribute to code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation. * Basic Qualifications * Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. * Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and computational geometry. * Strong programming skills in C++. * Programming experience in Python. * Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. * Preferred Qualifications * Experience with mesh generation algorithms. * Experience with geometry processing or mesh optimization. * Knowledge of CAD geometry, topology, or geometry kernels. * Familiarity with parallel computing or multithreading. * Exposure to GPU programming is a plus. * Experience with AI-assisted software development and coding agents is a plus. *
The annual salary range for California is $119,000 to $221,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
