About the role
Safety Worxs is recruiting on behalf of a valued client seeking an experienced, hands-on Training Coordinator for a direct-hire opportunity supporting facilities in Hempstead and Hockley, Texas. This role is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and documenting safety training for employees on all shifts. The ideal candidate is Spanish/English bilingual, brings strong manufacturing safety experience, deep knowledge of OSHA requirements, and the ability to connect with employees on the production floor.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate, schedule, and deliver instructor-led safety training for employees at both facilities and across day and night shifts * Conduct equipment safety training, including forklift, crane, and other industrial equipment * Deliver new-hire safety orientations and ongoing refresher training * Ensure training programs meet OSHA regulations and company safety requirements * Maintain accurate training records and track employee certifications, renewals, and compliance * Identify training needs and work with the Safety Manager to develop and improve training materials * Partner with supervisors and department leaders to schedule training with minimal disruption to operations * Support a strong safety culture through clear communication and visible presence on the floor * Travel regularly between the Hempstead and Hockley facilities
Qualifications:
* OSHA 500 * Experience coordinating and conducting safety training in a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements. * Experience delivering instructor-led training, including forklift, crane, and other equipment safety training. * Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. * Ability to maintain accurate training records and ensure employee compliance with required certifications.
Preferred:
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Benefits:
