About the role
Hivex is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering with hands-on experience in various tools and technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines to ensure reliable data flows across the organization.
Requirements:
* 4.5+ years of experience in a data engineering role * Proficiency in AWS RDS and Snowflake for database management * Hands-on experience with Fivetran, DBT, and Prefect * Experience with Looker * Familiarity with Datadog for monitoring and performance optimization * English level - B2 * Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Fivetran, DBT, and Prefect. * Manage and administer databases on AWS RDS and Snowflake to ensure optimal performance and data integrity. * Design and implement data models and ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics. * Work with Looker to create and maintain insightful reports and dashboards. * Monitor and optimize data workflows and performance using Datadog. * Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices. * Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide ongoing support to data users across the organization.
