Job Description
As a Care Professional, your responsibilities may include:
* Companionship: Spending quality time with clients, having conversations and supporting their hobbies and interests.
* Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs.
* Home Help: Helping with light housekeeping, laundry, ironing, shopping and keeping the home tidy.
* Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing meals and encouraging healthy eating.
* Medication Reminders: Providing reminders in line with the client's care plan.
* Appointments and Outings: Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities and local outings.
* Specialist Support: Supporting clients living with dementia, Alzheimer's and other age-related conditions.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential.
* A caring, compassionate and patient approach.
* Good communication and listening skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with clients.
* Reliable, punctual and well organised.
* Able to work independently and follow care instructions.
* Flexible and willing to learn.
* Good personal hygiene and a professional appearance.
* Ability to complete an Enhanced DBS check.

* £13.75 an Hour * Enhanced Pay on bank holidays
