Summary: As a Transportation Staff Engineer at Kapur & Associates, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects that positively impact communities.
Responsibilities: * Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers in the planning and design of transportation projects. * Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather relevant data for project analysis. * Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, reports, and specifications. * Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and simulations. * Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines. * Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in transportation engineering.
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * Strong academic background with a focus on transportation engineering coursework. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or other relevant tools. * Knowledge of WisDOT projects is a plus. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
