> Part-Time Housekeeper – Lake Forest, IL > > A private household in Lake Forest is seeking an experienced Part-Time, Live-Out Housekeeper to join their established household team. This position is ideal for a dedicated household professional who is polished, discreet, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining a beautifully cared-for home. > The family's long-standing Housekeeper will assist with training and onboarding, helping the incoming Housekeeper become familiar with the household's routines, preferences, and standards. > > Position: Part-Time, Live-Out Housekeeper > Location: Lake Forest, IL > Start Date: ASAP > Schedule: Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Sunday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; Monday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM > Guaranteed Hours: 27 hours per week > Compensation: $30-$40/hr. > Driving: Required; household vehicle provided for work-related driving > Parking: Provided > Responsibilities > * Complete detailed daily cleaning and periodic deep cleaning to a high standard > * Ensure the residence remains immaculate, organized, and beautifully maintained > * Provide proper care for fine furnishings, household surfaces, and finishes > * Handle household laundry, linens, and garment care with attention to detail > * Maintain organization of closets, storage areas, and common living spaces > * Unpack and put away groceries and other household purchases > * Drive the principal to and from appointments as needed > * Coordinate and work collaboratively with other members of the household staff > * Let the family dog outside as needed; no significant pet care required > * Exercise professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times > > Ideal Candidate > The ideal candidate will have professional housekeeping experience, preferably within a high-end private residence.
