Senior Network Administrator (Palo Alto / Aruba) London (On-site) | £70,000 - £85,000 + pre-IPO stock options

Own the secure network behind a UK defence programme, from architecture through to day-to-day operations.

What you’ll do
* Design, deploy and maintain secure networks across classified and unclassified environments * Run Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect) and Aruba switching, wireless and ClearPass * Implement segmentation, zero-trust and policy enforcement * Monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues and support incident response * Handle vulnerability remediation, RMF/STIG compliance and system accreditation (ATO)
You’re a fit if you have
* 8+ years in network administration in enterprise or DoD environments * Hands-on Palo Alto experience (NGFW, Panorama, VPNs, threat prevention) * Hands-on Aruba experience (switching, wireless, ClearPass NAC) * Strong TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs and VPNs * Experience in classified environments (SIPR/NIPR or equivalent) * Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53 and STIGs * Active UK SC clearance (DV preferred), or eligibility to obtain SC
Nice to have
* PCNSE or higher * Aruba certifications (ACMP, ACDX, etc.) * Network automation (Python, Ansible, APIs) * Cloud networking (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) * Zero Trust / SASE, Zscaler ZIA / ZPA or similar * High-availability or mission-critical systems background * Defence contractor or rapid-deployment experience
