Store Manager (Full-Time)
SPAR Kinsale (Pearse Street) is seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational excellence, team leadership, and compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the store
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high customer care standards
* Recruit, train, motivate, and develop team members
* Monitor and drive sales performance to achieve business targets
* Manage stock control, merchandising, and waste reduction
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, employment, and consumer legislation
* Manage cash handling procedures and store security
* Maintain high operational and presentation standards throughout the store
* Create and maintain a positive and productive working environment
Requirements
* 1-2 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role
* Previous retail experience essential
* Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Passion for delivering excellent customer service
* Knowledge of Health & Safety, HACCP, and relevant employment legislation
* Good organisational, problem-solving, and computer skills
* Self-motivated with a commitment to maintaining high standards
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
