Position Description:
Do you enjoy playing Minecraft and also find coding and teaching fun? At Kodland, you can contribute to children’s creativity, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and help them become creators in the digital world by teaching block-based coding and basic programming concepts through Minecraft: Education Edition. If you are energetic, patient, and enjoy communicating with children, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
Deliver fun and interactive Minecraft coding lessons using the provided materials.
* Help students understand the fundamentals of coding through Microsoft MakeCode.
* Encourage active participation and keep students motivated throughout the lessons.
* Collaborate with the Kodland instructor team by sharing feedback and improving lesson quality.
* Regularly report on student progress.
* Represent Kodland in a positive manner and creatively contribute to the learning experience.
Requirements
* Basic knowledge of coding (experience with block-based platforms such as Scratch is a plus).
* Prior experience playing Minecraft
* An English proficiency of at least C1
* Availability to teach at least 10 hours per week.
* Willingness to work with children; patient, energetic, and enthusiastic.
* Successful completion of a digital skills test to demonstrate your coding abilities is required.
* This is a fully remote position. * Willing to work flexible hours: * Weekdays: 4 pm - 10 pm ( Sdyney or Singapore time ) * Weekends: 10 am– 8 pm (Sdyney or Singapore time )
