Mastra | Founding Sales (Founding AE) | US Remote | Full-time
Mastra is the open-source TypeScript framework for building AI agents (agents, workflows, memory, evals, tracing). From the team behind Gatsby, YC-backed, https://github.com/mastra-ai/mastra
Why: Four months ago Mastra was a very popular open-source agent framework with very little monetization. Then we launched our platform, and now we're closing a couple of deals a week. Pipeline is growing faster than one person can work it, so this is our second dedicated sales hire. You start day 1 with a warm pipe: most leads are already using the open-source framework.
What you'd sell: Platform (Studio, Server, infra to run/debug/observe agents in production, hosted or self-hosted for regulated orgs), Agent Builder (agents without code), and Concierge (embedded Mastra engineers working alongside customer teams). Full-cycle, mid-market: Series A–C, often with regulatory or infra constraints, sales cycles of a few weeks, talking to eng leaders.
You have: Closed full-cycle deals in dev tools, OSS, infra, or AI. Enough technical depth to come across as a smart PM with engineers: understand their use cases and scope a solution. Founder or founder mentality. Comfort with a product that ships something new every week.
