Job Description
Berman Kia is seeking motivated and enthusiastic experienced technicians to join our dynamic and growing service team!
Location: Lincolnwood, IL Schedule: Full Time (40 hours/week) Pay Scale: $20.50 - $47.50/HR (Based on Experience, ASE Certifications, and/or Training)
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. * Work on complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and suspension work. * Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors. * Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are performed according to brand standards and procedures. * Participate in ongoing training programs to continue advancing technical skills and obtain higher certifications. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and standards. * Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
* At least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair setting required. * ASE Certifications * Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work is essential. * Understanding of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, brakes). * Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and take direction from senior technicians. * Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
