Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Bath, Maine. As a vital member of our rehabilitation services, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
* Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans * Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions and monitor patient progress * Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes with attention to detail * Supervise and coordinate care delivered by physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians * Establish measurable treatment goals and adjust plans based on patient progress * Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs * Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards * Utilize rehabilitation equipment and techniques effectively * Participate in regular team meetings and care coordination discussions
Qualifications
* Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program * Current Maine state physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain one * Valid CPR certification * Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principles * Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills * Proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans * Strong documentation and electronic health record skills * Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities * Physical stamina and ability to assist patients with mobility * Problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team * Commitment to continuing education and professional development * Experience with diverse patient populations preferred * New graduates are welcome to apply
