Night Shift - Welder | $3,000 Sign-On Bonus The rates provided for this position include shift differential.

The Welder will: * Arc weld metal components (primarily mild steel) in adherence to AWS D1.1. * Routinely produce multi-pass groove and fillet welds up to and including the 3G position (flat, horizontal, and vertical) * Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications. * Inspect finished work for conformance to all specifications. * Make weld repairs to damaged or non-conforming parts including surface build-up or plug welding. * Engage in other work required for welding processes including oxy-fuel burning, arc gouging, finish grinding, flame straightening, etc. * Operate hoists or cranes to move and position parts. * Work at heights as needed. * Comply with all Butech Bliss safety rules. * Perform other related duties assigned by supervision.
Strong candidates for this position will meet the following expectations: * Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in flux core arc welding with the ability to weld 1/16” – 3/32” diameter wires. * Prior experience producing weldments that require multi-pass fillet and/or groove welds. * Successful completion of a hands-on weld test is required. * Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds. * Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, push and pull. * Applicants must be willing to work overtime when available, including Saturday.
