MCS is hiring for an Audio Visual Lead Technician in West Palm Beach, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.
The Audio Visual Lead Technician must demonstrate experience with A/V, Data, Voice, Networking, and Fiber cabling. The Audio Visual Lead Technician will require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations. Typical duties include: * Terminating, testing, soldering, and dressing all low-voltage cabling. * Reading and interpreting blueprints. * Using Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, and HEPA/ICRA carts. * Training, mentoring, and developing junior technicians. * Working flexible hours including nights and/or weekends.
Required: Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Certification Requirements: OSHA 10/30, CTS, AMX, or Extron certifications desired Experience Requirements: * 5+ years of Audio Visual, Low Voltage, and large facility paging platforms. * Strong understanding of commercial A/V systems, structured cabling, networking, and fiber optic infrastructure.
