About the role
Buffalo Lift Trucks & Vitan Equipment is looking for a Parts Advisor to lead our Buffalo parts department. This role oversees the team, inventory, purchasing, and day-to-day parts operations while supporting our service technicians and keeping the department running efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, and returns * Lead, train, and develop the parts team * Coordinate parts needs with technicians and the service department * Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts * Identify and reduce obsolete or excess inventory * Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient parts department * Ensure department processes are followed consistently
Qualifications
* Experience in material handling, heavy equipment, automotive, truck, or a related industry preferred * Strong knowledge of parts ordering and inventory management * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills * Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced service environment * Strong attention to detail and follow-through
