Staff Accountant – Hybrid | Charlotte, NC
BHS Corrugated North America is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting team in Charlotte, NC!

Location: Charlotte, NC Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote Travel: Up to 20% Experience: 1–3 years preferred
What You'll Do
* Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close.
* Manage prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and monthly accruals.
* Maintain fixed-asset records, depreciation schedules, and construction in process (CIP) accounting.
* Post payroll journal entries from ADP and reconcile payroll accounts.
* Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and identifying discrepancies.
* Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and intercompany accounting as needed.
* Assist with internal and external audits and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
* Partner with the Tax Manager on tax-related reporting and compliance activities.
* Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
* 1–3 years of accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
* Experience with SAP and ADP is a plus.
* Manufacturing or multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and collaborate across departments.
