About the role
John Knox @ Home is looking for caregivers to join our Home Care team. Individuals will be a companion/caregiver for one of our clients located throughout the river region. These caregivers must be experienced in giving quality care. Service may be in clients home, in a senior community, or a hospital. We are not sitters, we are caregivers. * Home assistance – Assist clients with ADL's. Prepare meals, light housekeeping, provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.
* Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.
Requirements:
* High school diploma preferred. * Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report and Drug Screening. * Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive clients car * Good communication skills and able to converse with client
